Not too bad. Planned on getting all of these PBs since yesterday, went over it at least 3 times in my head last night. Well…i didnt plan on the 5,2,4 on bench, but expected 5 on the first set.
Squat was as expected, flew threw them, 15minutes including warmups and form held up, but these are still well within my means. Slow but steady. Bench went brilliantly, form only broke down on the 5th rep when my elbows flared a lot. I can only guess where the 2nd set went wrong, either too little rest or my poor unracking took up too much energy, how else would you explain getting 4 in the last set. I’ll get 3×5 next time. Deadlift went well too, previous best at this weight was for a double iirc. Form probably wasnt the best, felt the bar swaying away for a few reps, but other than that i cant complain…and wont. Row was another PB i think, never really stuck with pendlay/old school rows long enough to get to this weight. I got fatigued really quickly. The first few reps were easy but the final few were hard and ugly.
DB bench was far from pretty, form was all over the place. Cant really blame the weight because its obviously not that heavy, i’ll put it down to being tired and the fat gripz making everything harder than when done without them. Shrugs were a default PB, i’ve only been doing them a few weeks anyway. Straps for the last 2 sets. BB Curls were probably a PB aswell, volume wise, because i never do them. Not strict form though.
